Challenge to Address and Customer Requirements:
The main objective was to address issues related to false alarms generated by the thermal cameras used to protect the outdoor garden perimeter. In particular, the goal was to improve the reliability of detecting people approaching the villa area, ensuring more accurate and effective monitoring. At the same time, the potential integration of the video surveillance system with the existing alarm system was evaluated in order to optimize the response in the event of genuine intrusions.
Proposed Aylook Solution:
Installation of an Aylook system at the main facility and commercial locations, based on the specific requirements of the areas to be protected:
- use of existing cameras combined with Aylook Video Analytics licenses;
- integration of alarm control panels and interactive graphical maps;
- installation of new optical and thermal cameras where required;
- installation of an Aylook VMS video and alarm centralization system.
Result Achieved:
Thanks to the implementation of the new integrated security system, the organization achieved significant improvements in both operational efficiency and response to critical events.
One of the most significant benefits was the immediate intrusion alert for outdoor and perimeter areas, which dramatically increased response times. This made it possible to activate security procedures more promptly, reducing the risk of damage or theft.
Another key benefit was the introduction of a real-time alarm zone localization system, made possible through intuitive graphical maps. Operators can now precisely identify the affected area, improving both the quality and speed of the response.
The Control Room was optimized, not only from a technological perspective, but also in terms of day-to-day operations, making the operators’ work simpler, smoother, and less prone to errors.
From an economic perspective, the use of existing cabling and cameras helped reduce project costs by avoiding invasive work and unnecessary replacements.
Finally, the integration of all technical systems within the Control Room ensured centralized and efficient management, providing a complete overview of the system and greater control over all locations across the organization.
